Kevin B.

Bass

Attorney Kevin B. Bass is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. Attorney Bass is a husband, father, son, friend, and a proud Jacksonian. He is an Attorney at Williams & Bass, PLLC in Jackson, MS. Primarily, he practices in the areas of personal injury, aviation, and contract law. He also currently serves as Municipal Court Judge for the City of Jackson.

Previously, he worked as a Personal Injury Attorney with the Walker Group, PC where he litigated claims on the behalf of individuals that were injured because of the fault of another individual or entity. He also served the State of Mississippi as an Assistant District Attorney for the 11th Judicial District, where he worked vigorously on behalf of victims of violent crimes. He attended Green Elementary School, Chastain Middle School and Murrah High School. He went on to graduate from Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school Kevin was an active member of the Black Law Students Association, where he served as Vice-President from 2010-2011, and the Public Interest Law Foundation. He also completed an internship with the Southern Poverty Law Center and an externship with District Judge Henry T. Wingate, United Stated District Court Judge in the Southern District of Mississippi. Kevin is an active member of the Magnolia Bar Association and the Mississippi Association for Justice.

Kevin’s passion is serving others directly and in a meaningful way. He believes that knowledge of the law is a tool that empowers the people, particularly those from marginalized communities. In furthering that belief, Kevin volunteers at several expungement clinics yearly to help members of the community eliminate the societal stain placed on them and progress forward in life. He also serves as a volunteer Mock Trial Coach for students in Jackson Public Schools in hopes of empowering the future of Mississippi. Kevin enjoys working
out, sports, traveling, music, and spending time with his family and friends.
